The company E. Kündig AG was foundet in the early 60's by Ernst Kündig in Kriens-Obernau.
The company has evolved over the time to become the leading provider for remote- and safety systems for cable cars. In the early 80's, Ernst Kündig retired. In 1982 the company was taken over by Hans Rudolf Kollmar, who is still the CEO of the company.
The Kündig AG is domiciled at the Motelstrasse 1 in Kriens. Currently there are 12 people emploied by the company. The activity is still focused on project engineering, fabrication, installation and maintenance of control systems, in particuar cable car control systems.
